Days of Sharing

United Way's Day of Sharing program provides area nonprofits, schools and faith-based organizations a chance to "shop" for necessities for their clients--at no cost. One Friday every quarter, United Way opens it's basement doors at 10am so that our neighbors will have bedding, household and kitchen items, men's and women's clothes as well as items for infants and children at no cost. This Day was created to help support our fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.

United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region is fortunate to be the recipient of several in-kind donations, including, but not limited to: Clothing, Accessories, Outerwear, Bedding, Household items, etc. We are excited to share these generous donations with our community partners and invite you to join us for a Day of Sharing. Please feel free to come browse our inventory and take items that will assist your organization in achieving its mission. While this invitation is extended to all non-profit agencies within the Dutchess-Orange region, we request each agency receiving in-kind donations complete Policies and Procedures document and email it back.

Keey on eye out on our website and social media pages for announcements regarding our Days of Sharing!
